Magnetism and the Mind GP event a success
On 19 April, we hosted another successful mental health education evening for GPs, with a demonstration of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and a tour of our rTMS suite.
Event delegates also had the opportunity to discuss key areas of adult mental health with our Belmont Private Consultant Psychiatrists.
Dr Soman Elangovan and Dr Lana Fernandes presented on treatment indications and case study outcomes of rTMS, while Dr Sean Gills hosted a tour of our rTMS suite followed by a treatment demonstration.
Our panel and guests also enjoyed discussion around the efficacy of rTMS as a proven, alternative treatment for medication-resistant depression.
