Anzac Day 2019: A Day to Remember

On April 25, as we hear the words ‘lest we forget’, but let’s not forget this...

On Anzac Day 2019 we take a day to remember those members of the defence force who have served our nation, in war and peace, including those who gave their lives in various theatres of conflict across the globe.

As we hear those words ‘lest we forget’, it's important not to forget this...

Some service men and women will have the strength to march, for those that never returned. But for some, the living memory is all too raw. And they’re the people who deserve our highest priority and support, if we are to improve the mental health of our community.

This Anzac Day we would like to remind Australians to not only remember the sacrifices made, but also offer support to all past and present defence personnel who may be struggling with the psychological impact of war. There remain thousands of past and current defence personnel who have been traumatised by their experiences and suffer in silence. There is no shame, the bravest thing you can do is seek help.

If you or  someone you know is suffering, please know you are not alone. We offer a range of specialty services that can help you. If you would like to know more about Belmont Private Hospital and the services provided, please
