Belmont Supports The Blue Tree Project

This June, we are helping #spreadthepaint and #spreadthemessage of mental health and wellbeing in support of The Blue Tree Project

Founded in Western Australia in memory of Jayden Whyte who sadly took his life in November 2018, the Blue Tree Project is built on the foundation that we are stronger than we believe, braver than we think and loved more than we know.

The Blue Tree Project supports the cause that more needs to be done to help people with mental health issues. The community project hopes to raise awareness around metal wellbeing and help generate change to a system which is 'not made for modern society mental health issues.'

Jayden's cousin, Jared and best mate, Simon kickstarted the project by painting a tree in the middle of Simon's father's farm and are encouraging individuals and communities all over the world to support the cause by painting a tree blue, and spread the message of love, hope, support and strength.

During the month of June, Belmont Private Hospital will be hosting a number of fundraising initiatives in support of the Blue Tree Project to help raise funds and bring awareness to mental health and wellbeing in rural areas of Australia.

Join us and paint a tree of you own blue to send a message.

Let's #spreadthepaint and #spreadthemessage that it’s ok not to be ok.
