Belmont's Biggest Morning Tea
On Thursday May 23, 2019 we joined thousands across Australia to participate in Australia's Biggest Morning tea in support of the Cancer Council
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is the easiest way to bring people together to raise funds that will make a big difference to those impacted by cancer. The idea is simple, but the impact is large.
1 in 2 Australians are diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85 and here at Belmont, we too have felt the sudden loss of staff members, friends and colleagues to Cancer. We wanted to help change that and so, through the efforts of our Belmont bakers we hosted Belmont's Biggest Morning Tea.
We are delighted to announce that through the generosity of our patients, visitors and staff, Belmont Private Hospital raised a total of $600 from our bake sale efforts. All funds from the event have gone directly to the Cancer Council's life-saving research, prevention, support programs, and information.
