Men's Health Week 2019

Suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 45, yet only a third of men would feel comfortable talking about their feelings.

Men's Health Week June 10-16, 2019 is an important opportunity to highlight men's health and what it means to be healthy!

Let’s make it OK for men to speak up. Let’s make it OK for men to reach out and seek help. Let’s make it OK for men to start the conversation about mental health.

In Australia, Men's Health Week provides a platform for challenging and debating key issues in men's health and to raise the profile of men, their health outcomes and health needs around the country each June.

Our approach celebrates the strengths of men, the contributions they make and the important role they play in society. It is as much as week of celebration and engagement of men with a serving of health on the side.

Thank you to everyone who was able to ' make the time and take the time' to celebrate the week with us by partaking in Belmont's Blue Day in support of men's health and to all who helped us encourage more active involvement in men's health related issues.

If you’re worried about a friend, loved one or colleague, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask them how you can help. All it takes is the courage to speak up.
