About Special Care Unit
Our special care unit is for patients who need a higher level of acute care. It is the only service of its kind in the private sector.
Our six-bed secure unit offers ongoing assessment and close supervision. Under the supervision of our experienced staff, patients participate in diversional programs in a low stimulus environment.
Patients receive frequent assessment and review by their treating Psychiatrist who will assess their progress and suitability before transfer to an open ward.
