RU Ok Day 2025

On R U OK? Day, our team at Belmont Private Hospital came together to celebrate the power of meaningful conversations. With a sunny BBQ lunch and plenty of smiles, staff paused to check in with one another and reflect on the importance of asking, “Are you OK?” — not just today, but every day.

R U OK? Day is a national reminder that a simple question can make a big difference. Whether it’s a colleague, friend, or loved one, starting a conversation could be the first step in helping someone feel supported and heard.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the BBQ and helped create a space of care and connection. Let’s keep the conversation going.

To help spark those conversations, here are a few prompts you can use:

  • “How have you been feeling lately?”
  • “What’s been happening in your world?”
  • “Is there anything you’d like to talk about?”
  • “I’ve noticed you’ve seemed a bit different — want to chat?”
