Dr Mark Spelman was elected as the hospital's Director of Medical Services in 2015.
Dr Spelman has been an accredited Psychiatrist at Belmont Private Hospital for over 20 years and has an onsite private practice. His role is to provide professional leadership of medical staff accredited to practice at the hospital, through ensuring compliance with medical standards and promotion of the medical profession. The Director of Medical Services also provides advice on clinical governance, continuous quality improvement, medical best practice and patient safety.
