Professional background
Michael, BPsychSc(Hons), MPsychClin, is a Clinical Psychology Registrar and registered Psychologist.
He is a graduate of The University of Queensland with clinical experience across the lifespan in both inpatient and outpatient settings, hospital, community, university and non-for-profit organisations.
His therapeutic style has been described as kind, passionate and analytical. He aims to provide a collaborative and supportive environment to assist individuals to create lasting change, and further grow their capacity and capability to negotiate life’s many challenges. Michael makes use of an array of psychotherapy approaches including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance-commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical-behaviour therapy (DBT), meta-cognitive therapy (MCT) and Schema therapy.
Michael practices as a psychologist at the outpatient Belmont Psychology Clinic, and is a member of the Belmont Therapy Programs team
