The following applies for visitors, including students, volunteers, suppliers and contractors, to all Aurora Healthcare hospitals in Queensland
The Queensland Government have advised that effective 7am, Wednesday 18th January 2023, the traffic light level has been de-escalate from orange to green.
This means that the requirement to wear masks in hospitals has been lifted as per the below:
Green (baseline) means there are low rates of community transmission and Queensland is not in a COVID-19 wave.

You should always stay home if you’re sick, maintain good hygiene and keep up to date with your vaccinations.
From 14 October 2022, the requirement to isolate after a positive COVID test is no longer mandatory.
However, for the continued safety of our staff and patients in our hospitals, we are following the advice from National Cabinet regarding facilities within high-risk settings. We therefore require all staff and visitors who are COVID-19 positive to not enter our hospital facilities for five (5) days from their positive COVID-19 test date.

Visitors must report to the staff station on arrival to our Special Care Unit.
If you are visiting a patient in twin share accommodation, visits are to be conducted in common areas. In consideration of all patients and visitors, please be mindful of noise levels when using our common areas
In accordance with Queensland legislation, smoking is prohibited on Belmont Private Hospital grounds, and a five metre buffer beyond our boundary. This applies to all patients, visitors and staff at all times and includes all smoking products including regular cigarettes and e-cigarettes. Please observe no smoking signage around our hospital grounds, as Queensland Health can issue on the spot fines to people in breach of this legislation.
All patients admitted to hospital agree to attend our group programs, therefore visits during program times are not allowed. As this is a contractual agreement, non-attendance is permitted only under exceptional circumstances, and with authorisation from the patient's treating Psychiatrist.
Children are welcome at Belmont Private Hospital but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
For patients admitted to our Special Care Unit, please liaise directly with the unit if you plan to visit with children.
