What are the visiting hours?

Is smoking allowed at Belmont Private Hospital?

In accordance with Queensland legislation, smoking is strictly prohibited on Belmont Private Hospital grounds, and a five metre buffer beyond our boundary. This applies to all patients, visitors and staff at all times and includes all smoking products including regular cigarettes and e-cigarettes. Please observe no smoking signage around our hospital grounds, as Queensland Health can issue on the spot fines to people in breach of this legislation.

Is there accommodation close to the hospital?

The Colmslie Hotel is a short drive and located on Wynnum Road, Morningside. You can contact them on 07 3399 8222. Belmont Private Hospital does not have an affiliation with this business.

Can I bring gifts into the hospital?

If you would like to purchase flowers, we have vases for patient use. Florists are located close to the hospital and offer delivery. Online gifts can also be ordered. Belmont Private Hospital does not have an affiliation with these businesses.

Can I bring along pets?

No, Visitors must not bring any pets onsite or to the Café under any circumstance. Please note that the only animals that are allowed onsite to Belmont Private Hospital are approved assistance dogs. All approved assistance dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
