Belmont Private Hospital is proud to have a committed group of Volunteers who generously offer their time and services to assist our staff, patients, their families and carers.

Belmont Private Hospital are looking for Volunteers!
Belmont Private Hospital’s Volunteer Program aims to provide the highest possible care and comfort to patients by contributing to a wide variety of arts, crafts and activities to provide support to patients.
Our Volunteers support the Hospital in multiple ways, including providing information and directions to patients, providing patient support services and assisting with activities at Belmont Private Hospital.
- Coordinate activities with patients as per the Volunteer Activity Calendar (e.g. craft/card making, puzzles, manicures, hand massage, library trolley, outdoor games, gardening)
- Conduct an admission survey with patients within 48 hours of their admission
- Meet and greet incoming visitors to Hospital
- Deliver packages to correct ward and clinics
- Offer refreshments to any patients or visitors waiting, as required
- Deliver flowers to patients
- Assist with fundraising activities (e.g. selling raffle tickets, Christmas Markets, free dress day collections, bake sales for R U OK Day etc)
- Delivery of patient letters, as requested by Executive
- Restocking of therapy program brochures
