The University of Queensland Market Day

On Thursday, October 11, 2018 Belmont held a therapy station at the University of Queensland’s Market Day. The stand educated students on the importance of mental health and wellbeing, while providing strategies to maintain their stress levels during the upcoming exam block period.

Students had the opportunity to speak with some of Belmont’s consultants while taking part in mindfulness colouring in and art therapy presented by Belmont’s Art Therapist.

The relaxed therapy station fostered a comfortable community space to start conversations about mental health and received a steady stream of students over the three-hour period.
