This is for eligible patients who have completed the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) program. You will gain a deeper understanding of the positive impact ACT skills can have on all aspects of your life. The program focuses on putting skills into action while offering ongoing support.
If you enjoy creative expression and art to work through emotional and psychological issues, this program is useful. You will find it easier to engage with others in more structured sessions. If you have art experience, more advanced techniques may be learned.
Our Brisbane Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) program is for patients who suffer from depression, anxiety or stress. This DVA-approved program helps you identify, understand and change unhelpful patterns of thinking which may negatively affect your life.
We offer this as a day program for three weeks or as an evening program for six weeks.
If you want to focus more intensely on specific CBT topics while maintaining ongoing support for yourself, you can join this program after attending our CBT day, evening or inpatient program with follow up. You will practice CBT skills, both in sessions and with homework exercises, to regularly start using these skills in everyday life.
This six-week program is for people living with depression or bipolar disorder. It is based on the principles of Responsibility, Education, Acceptance, Connection and Hope. The program, designed by the Black Dog Institute, aims to help you manage your illness and stay well.
