Virtual Mental Health Week 'Take Time' Art Show
We're going virtual! In support of Queensland Mental Health Week Belmont Private Hospital will be hosting a virtual 'Take Time' Art Show . Voting for our People's Choice Award will be open until Friday 22nd October, 2021. Cast your vote now!
This year we are adding an exciting virtual component to our exhibition for those who may be unable to attend in person. We welcome our community to cast their vote for their People's Choice Award, with the successful artist entry winning a $50 cash prize.
Past and present patients of Belmont Private Hospital have come together to showcase their creativity by responding to the theme ‘take time for mental health’ as it relates to their own mental health journey. Over 40 pieces of artwork will be on display at Belmont Private Hospital’s annual Art Exhibition to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing.
If you are able to attend in person, the event's grand opening will coincide with Queensland Mental Health Week (9-17 October) commencing at 6:00pm on Monday 11 October with a diverse exhibition of art offerings ranging from visual to fine arts and so much more.
Categories and prizes include:
- 1st place - (open to past and current patients) $100
- 2nd place - (open to past and current patients) $50
- 3rd Place - (open to past and current patients) $50
- People's choice - (open to the staff and the community) $50
Voting for the People's Choice Awards commenced on Sunday 10 October and will be open for the duration of the online show.
Winners will be announced via our social pages on Monday 25th October, 2021.
