Dr Kim Hicks BAS, MBBS, FRANZCP is a Psychiatrist and Psychogeriatrician with special interests in mood and cognitive disorders. She specialises in the assessment and management of adults with memory concerns with secondary anxiety and depression.

Dr Hicks works collaboratively with patients, their caregivers and other health professionals. She recognises the importance of supporting the carers and family members of her patients.

Dr Hicks utilises a combination of medical and psychological therapies and where clinically indicated, she provides access to neurostimulation treatments such as Electroconvulsive Therapy and Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation at Belmont Private Hospital.

Educated locally in Brisbane, Dr Hicks studied at Queensland University (Bachelor of Applied Science - Biochemistry) and the University of Queensland (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery). She completed her psychiatry training at The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Dr Hicks is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and a member of the Faculty of Psychiatry of Old Age and the Faculty of Neuropsychiatry.
